From Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, you can also take a boat trip to the island of Île d’Yeu. The surroundings of the campsite are ideal for cycling and hiking, with a variety of signposted routes to choose from.

Camping Le Bois de la Gachère is a peaceful campsite set in natural surroundings, just 1.5 km from the beach and the sea. The campsite is perfect for those who love peace, space, and nature. The Tendi safari tents are placed among the trees, providing plenty of shade. Of course, there is also a lovely heated (partly covered) swimming pool with sun loungers and a separate children’s pool. For kids, there is also a playground and a multi-sports field with football and basketball. At the on-site restaurant, you can enjoy pizzas, burgers, fries, salads, and more. For active holidaymakers, there are also outdoor fitness facilities.

In Brem-sur-Mer (2 km away, with a charging point), Les Sables d’Olonne, and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, you will find all amenities such as supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, shops with local products, post office, tourist office, cafés, restaurants, and lively weekly markets.
