The Tendi location Tenuta delle Ripalte is situated on the southern tip of Elba on a large private estate and is known for its wines, which are produced on the estate itself. At the new winery, you can enjoy a tour and tasting. Here you can take in the view over the vineyards and the Mediterranean Sea. This is a unique spot on Elba where all the beauty and goodness of the island and Italy come together.

Accommodations at Tenuta delle Ripalte

Tenuta delle Ripalte

Some places on earth are hard to describe and must be seen with your own eyes. Tenuta delle Ripalte is a private estate of 450 hectares, located on the southern tip of Elba. Here you can enjoy peace, space, luxury and all the facilities that Tenuta delle Ripalte offers.

From Capoliveri you drive into the Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago Toscano. This nature park lies within the estate and after 7 kilometers (unpaved) through this park you arrive at Tenuta delle Ripalte with the 19th century mansion that serves as a small charming hotel. Spread across the estate are several villas, apartments in the outbuildings and the agricampeggio, located among pine trees, fruit trees and vineyards. This fantastic estate has 12 km of private coastline and 8 beaches, one with a restaurant and one with a beach bar. Restaurant Calanova at Calanova Beach (4 km) is located among the trees, yet close to the sea. The Remaiolo Beach Bar at Remaiolo Beach (3 km) serves cold drinks, ice cream and small snacks. At lunchtime there is a buffet. You can reach the beaches in the beautiful bays by shuttle bus (2 times per day), bicycle or your own car.

The Tendi Safari tents with private bathroom are located on very spacious pitches, some with views over the tip of the island. This agricampeggio with 10 pitches is located in a separate area of the estate. Of course, Tenuta delle Ripalte also has a swimming pool with a separate children’s pool and there are sun loungers and parasols available. For children there is a playground and during the high season a small animation program is offered. In the mini market you can buy fresh bread, small groceries and some local specialties. In the evening, enjoy the Italian cuisine and the estate’s own wines on the terrace of the mansion restaurant.

Capoliveri with its historic center is located 10 kilometers away and offers all facilities such as a supermarket, grocery store, small shops, cafés and several restaurants.

Tip: You can use 4 different ferry companies (including Toremar, Moby Lines, Corsica Ferries, Blunavy) that sail several times a day from Piombino to Elba in about one hour. You can also fly at good rates with airlines such as Transavia from Amsterdam to Pisa.
